I love make-up and beauty products, you could call me an addict really, whenever I have friends over they always say my bathroom looks more like a beauty counter of a department store, and I guess it does. I have also managed the impossible and got my husband into products too.

I have lots of favorite bands and love to try new products so I never seem to get to the end of one product before I have bought another in a different shade or "new and improved" version so I am always discovering, discovering new products and re-discovering pieces I have used then got distracted from because I bought something new.

So, I am a Mum of 2 and have to do the school run every day and if you have read this far it will come as no surprise that I would not dream of arriving at the school gates with no make up on, thankfully about 6 years ago I discovered a makeup range that changed my life, literally. Bare Escentuals Bare Mineral make up. Not only is my morning make-up regime so much quicker and easier, my skin is healthier, no breakouts (apart from time of the month) and it looks so natural.

Here is my morning make-up routine and what I use;
After cleansing, toning and mosturising and applying primer, all of which I will talk about later, I buff on Bare Escentuals Foundation in Fairly Light using the handy buki brush, the coverage is flawless, lightweight and natural looking, I then go over it with one of the radiance face colours, the one I am using at the moment is Bare Radiance which is a warming tone, I finding lighter than a bronzer which for me is important at this time of the year as I have light/pale skin so with Bare Radiance I avoid the "tango'd" look. The Radiance powders also have light diffusing properties which gives a luminosity to the skin, great for disguising fine lines.
I then apply a little blusher, at the moment I am using lovely pink shade from Mally Beauty in Rosette, which gives a really youthful look to the cheek. Next Eyebrow, pencil, this is my dessert island item, my brows are so light I do not see any shape to my face without using a brow pencil. I currently use YBF Transforming eye brow pencil, unfortunately it is not available to purchase in the UK at the moment, it is part of a range by former Ford Model, Stacey Schieffelin, but I know there are plans to get back into the UK market.
To even out my eye lid and to give my eye colour staying power I use Bare Escentuals Well Rested which is a multi tasking product, great as a concealer for dark circles too. Then for some eye colour, this morning I used BE Gold Leaf as a base over lid and above crease and BE Flaunt which is a great everyday iridescent brown, just dark enough to define but not to look overdone.
Mascara, Bare Escentuals Flawless Definition in black, it has a silicone brush which really helps to give a separated and defined look to the lashes, it stays all day and does not cause panda eyes.
Last but not least Bare Escentuals Buxom Babes Lip gloss in Zena, natural pink shade.

So that is it my school run make up routine. The end result is a natural makeup look, it may sound like it takes ages but it takes my only 10 minutes and that is down to the ease of application of all the products mentioned.
Over the coming weeks and months I will review each product in depth, with pictures and also talk about other looks i.e. my evening look and weekend look, I will discuss skin, body and hair care products and talk more about my favorite brands and where I buy them from.
